Q: How can I make a photo CD from photoshop elements 7? I have about 80 photos I want to put on 1 CD.

A: Hi Sally,
Please post a comment to this thread and tell us if you have the Mac or a PC version of Photoshop Elements 7.

It came to me during my meditation. My mind was wandering as I lost focus of my mantra. I began to wonder if Sally ever got her question resolved as I had not heard back from her.

I had asked her to reply to the post and tell me if she was using a Mac or PC with Photoshop Elements 7.

Suddenly it occurred to me. There was never a version 7 released for the Mac!

So now I know Sally is on a PC, and here is how to transfer photos to a CD.

Step 1
Put a blank CD into your drive.

Step 2
Either in the Organizer or the Editor, display all the photos you want to put on the CD.
It doesn't matter what you have selected, only what you have displayed.

Step 3
Click on the Share workspace tab. Click CD/DVD?
All available disk burners will show in Select Destination Drive area.
Select the drive with your CD in it and you will see options for speed and what to name your CD.

Step 4
Click OK and it will burn.

How do you display the photos, please?

You don't really need to have them all showing in your window. Just have them all OPEN in Elements. In other words they may be hidden in Tabs but as long as you have them open they will burn.

Also note that in some versions of Elements you might have to click on More Options in the Share Tab to see the CD/DVD... option.

Hi Rick. Just wanted to say a big thank you for all of the great information contained in your tutorials. I've stumbled around PS9 for quite a few weeks now and can't believe quite how easily you explain the different aspects. It's way, way more powerful than I imagined and now, for me, usable too.
