Slimming Technique That's Believable

Wouldn't it be great to be able to have a slimming secret that would let you drop about 7 pounds in 2 minutes?

Well you can at least accomplish that amazing feat in your photos using this simple technique in Photoshop Elements!

Take a look at the before and after photos below.

See how it's done in the video below.

Under the video I give you the step-by-step process.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to use that technique in real life?!

Ok, so here's an outline of the procedure that you can use for a quick reference guide:

STEP 1. Duplicate the Background Layer.

STEP 2. Go up to the Image Menu and choose Transform>Free Transform. Or use the Keyboard Shortcut Command+T for Mac, Control+T for PC.

STEP 3. Drag the middle Handle in toward the center of the photo and make sure the Width doesn't go below 95%. Click on the Green Checkmark to commit to the change.

STEP 4. Crop out the leftover Transparent area using the Crop Tool and you're done, OR...

STEP 5. Make a Rectangular Marquee Selection of the edge of the photo. Go up to the Image Menu and choose Transform>Free Transform. Or use the Keyboard Shortcut Command+T for Mac, Control+T for PC.

STEP 6. Pull the middle handle out to stretch the edge of the photo to fill in the transparent area. Click on the Green Checkmark to commit to the change. Done.

At this point you could go up to the Layer Menu and choose Flatten Image from the bottom of the Menu to merge down your extra Layer.
