You can put a person into another photo using Photoshop Elements. And as you'll see in the video below it's fairly quick and easy.

Put a Person Into Another Photo with Photoshop Elements

Step-By-Step

I broke the steps down for achieving this effect so that you don't have to keep going back to the video and hitting pause.

This is just a rough outline of the steps I used to get the results. I hope you find it helpful.

STEP 1. - Open a photo that has the person that you want to move in it.

STEP 2. - Select the subject using the Quick Selection Tool.

STEP 3. - Zoom up to 200%.

STEP 4. - Clean up the Selection with the Lasso Tool.

STEP 5. - Use Refine Edge to further tweak the Selection.

STEP 6. - Put the selected area onto a new Layer. Command-J on a Mac or Control-J on a PC.

STEP 7. - With the new Layer active Select All Command-A on a Mac or Control-A on a PC and then copy to the clipboard Command-C on a Mac or Control-C on a PC.

STEP 8. - Open the photo that you want to put the subject into.

STEP 9. - Paste the subject into the new photo. Command-V on a Mac or Control-V on a PC.

STEP 10. - Switch to the Move Tool and resize the subject by dragging diagonally on one of the corner handles.

STEP 11. - Move into place and click on the green check mark to accept the change.

STEP 12. - (Optional) Adjust the lighting to match the new environment. Enhance>Adjust Lighting>Brightness/Contrast....

STEP 13. - (Optional) Add a Drop Shadow. Layer>Layer Style>Style Settings....
