You don't get the effect in the sky because it is a consistent color

You don't get the effect in the sky because it is a consistent color

Q: I want to able to see every individual pixel in a picture. I've seen people do it on TV and now I want to try.


A: Sue, I liked your question so much that I decided to do a full tutorial of the technique.

But I'll give you the short answer here. This effect can be achieved in Photoshop Elements by using the Mosaic filter:

  1. Duplicate your Background layer so that it remains intact.
  2. Go under the Filter menu and choose Pixelate>Mosaic…
  3. In the Dialog window that comes up use the slider to change the Cell Size until you get the look you want. Click OK.

Thats all there is to it. I will provide a link here to my tutorial once it is completed.
