Add To or Subtract From a Selection

by Christine
(San Francisco)

My tip is about making changes to a selection. If you have something selected and you want to add to that selection you can hold down the shift key and select the new part and it will be added to your selection.
To subtract something from your selection hold down the alt key and go over the part you want to take away.

For Mac Users

Hi Christine- Great tip. Thanks for sharing. Just want to add that Mac users should use the Option key instead of the Alt key when subtracting from a selection.
